No more details ready for release now, but I've finished filming for an amazing series in which I got to travel and have lots of history adventures, including playing with a cannon. They did make me canoe, but I've forgiven them now... Because they let me keep my cannon ball. And because Alina had the worst activity of all filming her episode...

In 2023, I went to Belgium to film a documentary about the First World War that you don't know. We always name Mons as the beginning in Britain, but Belgium and France had been fighting for weeks at that point. This series is all about the invasion and everything that happened before the BEF got there. Scroll down for a photo album. Incidentally, the idea for this series came from an immense amount of research in Wallonia for a battlefield tour that tells this story.
